Phase 1 — Foundation
Vision & Mission
The north star every AI coding agent needs before writing line one

What is this document?
The Vision & Mission document states, in plain language, the world your product is trying to create and the specific job it does for its users. It is short on purpose: one vision statement, one mission statement, the problem in the customer’s own words, and the principles that decide trade-offs.
Every other document in the package inherits from it. When an AI coding agent has to choose between two reasonable implementations, the Vision & Mission is the tie-breaker that keeps the product pointed in one direction.
Why does it matter?
- “Add a search feature” means something very different for a marketplace than for a document editor — the vision tells the agent which one it is building.
- Without a stated mission, AI tools optimise for what is easy to build rather than what matters to your users.
- Product decisions made months later stay consistent with the reason the product exists.
What's inside?
- Vision statement — The long-term outcome the product exists to create.
- Mission statement — What the product does, for whom, and how that is measured.
- The problem we are solving — The customer’s pain, written from their point of view.
- Guiding principles — The ordered rules used to resolve trade-offs.

How CREAH generates it
CREAH builds this document from your Stage 0 answers and interview. Questions that shape it include:
- Who is the first person whose day gets better when this product exists?
- What does success look like one year after launch?
- When speed and completeness conflict, which one wins?
Example excerpt
## Vision Statement
A world where the gap between "I have an idea" and "an AI coding agent
can build it right, the first time" is a single structured conversation.
## The Problem We're Solving
AI code-generation tools are extraordinarily capable, but their output
quality is bounded by the quality of the brief they receive.
