Phase 6 — AI Build Meta-Layer

AI Build Manifest

The master instruction set that turns your documents into a working product

2 min read · Document 30 of 30

What is this document?

The AI Build Manifest — the CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md at the top of your package — tells your AI coding tool what to read, in what order, which skills to install, and how to report progress.

It is written for the build tool you chose in Stage 0, and indexes every file in the package.

Why does it matter?

  • Handing documents to an AI agent without a reading order is like furniture without instructions.
  • Every generated file is listed, so nothing is missed.
  • Tool-specific setup is handled for you.

What's inside?

  • Reading order — Which documents to read first.
  • File index — Every file in the package.
  • Build rules — Non-negotiable rules for the agent.

How CREAH generates it

CREAH builds this document from your Stage 0 answers and interview. Questions that shape it include:

  • Generated for the build tool you selected.

Example excerpt

## Session start — read in this order
1. CLAUDE.md (this file)
2. BUILD_PROGRESS.md → find the first milestone not done
3. The documents listed for that milestone

Never skip a milestone's definition of done.
